WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer Bubble Back, ref 6050, circa 1952, 32mm x 39mm to lug tips, 17mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold screw back Oyster case, no strap, original silvered dial with applied gold indices with luminous accents, 18J, s#896486, triple signed, inside back ref 6650. Gross weight of assembled watch 28.3 dwt (44.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light toning to plates and rotor; excellent dial with light yellowing due to radium burns from the hands as well as a small scuff through dial center; excellent radium gold alpha hands; polished case shows very light wear, still retains some of the original factory finishing, light dings on the backs of the lugs; Rolex signed crown shows little wear, good threads; plastic crystal with light crazing; resealed for auction.
